QC: Doom Edition

QC: Doom Edition is a mod for Doom, thanks to which you can enjoy an experience similar to the great Quake Champions, including both its wide arsenal and its Champions mechanics, but with all the pixel flavor of Doom. This means that you can not only play the single-player campaign alone, but you can also play online, in several different game modes.

The easiest mod to install

To play many Doom mods, you usually need to use GZDoom or other programs. However, you need absolutely nothing to play QC: Doom Edition. All you have to do is double-click on the executable, choose the directory where you want to install the game, and that's it. In just a few seconds, you'll be able to start playing. But how is that possible? It's very simple: inside the executable comes the Q-Zandronum engine, along with the Doomseeker server browser and Freedoom, among other files. This way, you won't need to download anything else to start playing.

Game modes for all tastes

QC: Doom Edition has several game modes, both for solo and online play. On the one hand, you can play the original Doom campaign, both solo and in cooperative mode. You'll also be able to play a Survival mode on your own. On the other hand, you'll have several different online game modes, including the classic Deathmatch, Domination and Capture the Flag. But keep in mind that although the game has a good player base, looking for friends to play online is also great fun.

Dozens of weapons, enemies and champions

One of the highlights of QC: Doom Edition is the wide variety of totally unique content available. First of all, you can choose from 30 different champions (characters), each with their own skill. In addition to this, you can use over a dozen different weapons, which you can upgrade with different objects to customize them to your liking. And in the enemies and demons section, you can find any of those that appear in Doom, Doom 4, Quake, Quake 2 or Quake 4.
